The Rathgowry was built at the turn of the 19th century by a sailing ship's
captain who named it after his ship – The Rathgowry. As was typical for this period
of construction, most of the guest rooms are spacious with high ceilings, which have been completely
renovated recently and refurbished in a nautical theme.
All of the Rathgowry is centrally heated and all hot water is supplied by a pressurised central
hot water system.
All rooms have:

Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 09:30 in our spacious breakfast room which has views of
Gyllyngvase Beach. A selection of breakfasts are available from our
menu.
For younger guests we have a high chair and travel cot available.
Free parking is available for guests on the forecourt of the guesthouse.
Laundry service is available upon request.
The Rathgowry is non-smoking throughout the guest areas and cannot accommodate pets.
We accept all major credit cards, direct debit cards, cheques & cash. Euros and
travellers cheques also welcome.
